Rationale Behind Recreation, Art and Media Activities

The philosophy of Alice Outcomes is based on reengaging the young people entering the program back into both education and the community. Activities such as those below give the young people the opportunity to interact in a positive way with members of the community that the nature of their lifestyles would normally keep them alienated from and as a result begins to break down some of the barriers to effective engagement in the community which can ultimately lead to their being able to be effective members of the workforce.
